about

The High Notes Debut album "The Right Track" by Rude Rich & The High Notes was originally released on Vinyl & CD in 1998 by Boombax/Rude Rich Records. Long ago sold out - this is the first time the album is available in digital format & is now exclusively available as download only via this page.

The album showcases the bands first studio works, as well as some Live & Direct material plus a bagful of dubs for good measure. After this release, & over a period of the next 20 years, The High Notes went on to be the backing band of choice for various foundation reggae artists such as Alton Ellis, Derrick Morgan, The Heptones, Dennis Alcapone, Winston Francis, Ernest Ranglin, Rico Rodriguez and many more, & performed in countries all over the world..... proving that indeed they were on 'the right track'.
